These are the programmes that we would recommend investigating to further your dance experience. All of these have been attended and enjoyed by PBS Dancers who are looking to widen their experience and consider a career in dance.

Swindon Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) Ballet and Contemporary
CAT have funded places available. They are looking for students who want to improve their technique and push their dance training. These places have grants available, which means training could be free or partially subsidised. https://www.swindondance.org.uk/cat/
 
 
 
English Youth Ballet perform full length productions of classical ballets with professional principal dancers in the leading roles in regional theatres across the UK, giving young dancers outside London an opportunity to perform within a professional setting. https://www.englishyouthballet.co.uk/about-eyb/

The Programme

Ballet Boost Associates is a vocational Sunday ballet school for aspirational young dancers who wish to progress to full-time training or a professional dance career. Based in London and hosted at a number of additional locations around the UK.

Royal Ballet School logo
Based in centres across the UK, the course is designed to augment an individual’s current training while introducing them to The Royal Ballet School’s System of Training alongside other gifted children who aspire to a career in dance. Pupils continue to study with their regular dance teacher in addition to their Associate dance classes each Saturday. Associates make lifelong friends on the course, dancing alongside other gifted children who share their passion for dance.

 
 
 
 

Mark Bruce Company are launching a new series of classes for Pre-Vocational dance students.

Taught by professional freelance dancers over the course of the next academic year, these sessions are aimed at pre-vocational dance students aged 15-18 who are passionate about, and aspire to pursue a career in professional dance. Students must have a base in classical or contemporary technique, and demonstrate an eagerness to enhance their dancing with this additional, complementary training. There will be a series of two Masterclasses a term, taught by different teachers.

This is an opportunity to learn from industry experts, improve skills, build self-confidence, meet other like-minded pupils and above all have fun.
